Caundee D. Cauvin’s path to ministry did not begin in a seminary classroom. It began in the field of social work.

After eight years of serving others, Cauvin sensed a deeper calling one that extended beyond her professional role. While her work was meaningful, she felt drawn to a broader purpose that combined compassion, faith and restoration.

That conviction led her to Andrews University, where she discovered a dual-degree program integrating a Master of Social Work with a Master of Divinity. The program affirmed what she had already begun to understand: her calling was not separate from her past experience, but a continuation and expansion of it.

From 2021 to 2023, Cauvin served with the Young Women of Ontario under Pastor Liz Pule. She remains actively involved in Compassion Ministry alongside Pastors John M. Scott and Inpyo Hong, supporting camp meetings and ministry initiatives throughout the year.

These experiences have helped shape her focus in pastoral ministry, particularly in marriage and family life. Cauvin is committed to helping individuals, couples and families build relationships rooted in love, grace and honest communication.

Fluent in English, French and Haitian Creole, she brings cultural awareness and accessibility to her work, allowing her to serve diverse communities effectively.

Through her journey, organizations like TEAM have played a vital role in supporting emerging leaders like Cauvin providing guidance, visibility and opportunities to grow in both purpose and impact. TEAM continues to invest in individuals who are committed to service, helping them translate their calling into tangible community change.

Cauvin moves forward in her ministry with clarity and confidence, grounded in faith and a commitment to serve.

Those seeking to make a difference in their communities are encouraged to apply and partner with TEAM, where purpose-driven leadership is cultivated and supported.
