Women in Ministry Scholarships
Sponsored by Time for Equality in Adventist Ministry (TEAM)
The TEAM Women in Ministry Scholarship Fund was established in 1991 to encourage excellence in
women called by God to pastoral ministry, chaplaincy and religious education. TEAM scholarships are
supported by Adventist donors who believe that spiritual gifts are given to both men and women,
regardless of gender, race, nationality, or marital status.
To qualify students must:
-
Plan to serve in the Seventh-day Adventist pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, youth ministry, or religious education.
-
Have completed at least two years in religion or theology for undergraduate applications.
-
Maintain at least a B average, or 80% GPA minimum.
-
Be active in a church or ministry.
-
Work 10 to 20 hours per week to help with expenses.
Applications are reviewed by the TEAM Scholarship Committee, and are awarded based on spiritual
commitment, academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement. Students will be notified,
and the scholarship will be sent to the Adventist University where the student is enrolled. This process
may take 4 to 12 weeks, depending on availability of funds, and how the money will be sent. The
amount of scholarships awarded depend on the number of donations received by TEAM. Students
must re-apply every year by submitting a brief Reapplication form available at timeforequality.net
