A NEW BOARD MEMBER: DANIEL OPOKU BOATENG

Pastor/Dr. Daniel Opoku Boateng is a self motivated and results-oriented professional
who seeks to serve wherever and whenever possible. His primary objectives in life and career have been to restore dignity and freedom to humanity in whatever way possible as it lies within his capacity and ability.
After earning a BA in Theology and an MDiv at Andrews University, he traveled to Silang Cavite in the Philippines to complete a DPTH at the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies. His training and experience in ministry, public health, and pastoral counseling provided the background for his final service in denominational employment for the West Central Africa Division of Seventh-day Adventists (WAD) where he served as the Ministerial Secretary and Strategic Planning Coordinator for five years and then the Vice President and Ministerial Secretary for the following six years.
He is currently serving as Special Advisor for the Valley View University in Ghana. Pastor/Dr. Daniel brings years of experience in denominational employment and thus an in-depth understanding of the needs of women called to ministry in various parts of the world. He is known to be a mentor and role model for Seventh-day Adventist pastors in West Africa, America, and in South Korea (He was an exchange professor at the Sahmyook University in South Korea.). He is a research and author on theological issues. A man of God, ordained minister of the Gospel, married to one wife, Dr. Sarah Opoku-Boateng who serves as the Director of University Relations for Valley View University. They have three daughters, all PhD holders. Dr. Daniel and Dr. Sarah have six grandchildren! TEAM will benefit from his travels, experience in ministry in various settings, and an understanding of avenues for mentoring women called to ministry.
