Faithful Through the Fire: The Story of Gail Lee

Gail Lee grew up as a Seventh-day Adventist, shaped by the example of pastors she admired and the rhythms of a faith community that drew her close to God from an early age. As a teenager, she served as a youth leader, surrounded by mentors who invested in her spiritual growth and encouraged her faith.
About five years ago, however, a painful experience with church leadership deeply challenged that faith. Feeling judged, misunderstood, and unwelcome, Gail stepped away from the church entirely. For two years, she struggled to trust again. During that difficult season, her husband himself a pastor quietly supported her, praying for her each morning without pressure or expectations. Over time, those prayers began to soften her heart.
Her turning point came when she encountered a pastor whose life, marked by trials and imperfections, reflected the faithfulness she had lost hope in. His example helped reignite her faith and gave her a renewed sense of purpose.
Today, Gail is part of an Adventist women’s ministry in her home country, where she gathers regularly with others for Bible study, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Her journey has shaped her passion to uplift others who may be struggling in their faith.
Like Ruth whose loyalty in difficult circumstances she holds close Gail has chosen to remain, to return, and to inspire others to do the same.
“We live to serve and inspire others,” she reflects. “No matter what life brings, our roots are in God. We are His branches, and we are meant to bear fruit.”
With renewed faith and resilience, Gail Lee continues her journey, encouraging others to remain steadfast and trust God through every season
Guided by faith and compassion, Gail continues to dedicate her ministry to uplifting and serving others.
